Our Story

Tarvix began in Shah Alam in 2019, started by a small group of people who had spent years working in vehicle logistics and ground transport across Selangor and the Klang Valley. The founding idea was specific: make the airport pickup rental process follow the same logic as a well-run information board — clear, sequential, and unhurried.

The team noticed a recurring problem in the industry. Travellers arriving at KLIA or KLIA2 would collect their baggage, clear customs, and then spend an unexpectedly long stretch of time navigating the paperwork and handover process for a hired vehicle. The sequence was rarely communicated clearly in advance, and the handover location was sometimes ambiguous.

Tarvix was built to change that. Each service tier we offer follows a documented pickup flow — from the designated meeting point to the vehicle familiarisation step. Our staff are trained to move through this sequence efficiently so that travellers spend their first hour after landing in the car, not still in the terminal.

Today we operate three service tiers — compact, sedan, and premium — each designed for a different type of traveller and trip. The Shah Alam office handles booking coordination, vehicle readiness, and client communication. Airport operations are managed by a dedicated team on-site at KLIA and KLIA2.

To make the airport rental handover the simplest, most predictable part of a traveller's arrival — so that every client knows exactly what to expect before their flight lands.

We document every step of the collection process and share it with clients before their arrival. Nothing is left to assumption. Meeting points, handover checklists, and vehicle details are all confirmed in advance.

Hazrul oversees the full airport pickup workflow and coordinates between the Shah Alam office and on-site teams at KLIA and KLIA2. Previously managed fleet logistics for a Selangor-based transport group.

Client Services Manager

Nurul manages the booking intake process and client communication. She ensures every traveller receives their pickup details, meeting point confirmation, and documentation checklist well ahead of arrival.

Syafiq handles vehicle readiness across all tiers. He runs the pre-handover checklist for each booking, verifying fuel levels, documentation, and vehicle condition before each scheduled collection.

Standards

Each step of the Tarvix process follows documented protocols. These are not aspirational — they are operational, reviewed regularly, and communicated to every team member.

Every vehicle is inspected against a 12-point checklist before each booking. This covers fuel, tyre condition, interior cleanliness, and document readiness.

All vehicle paperwork is maintained in compliance with Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) requirements. Clients receive their required documents at the point of handover without delays.

Booking data is stored securely and used only for the purposes of coordinating your collection arrangement. We do not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Every client receives a structured confirmation message before their arrival date. This includes the meeting point reference, host contact details (premium tier), and a summary of what to bring.

Our operations team tracks inbound flights for active bookings. Significant schedule changes are flagged and addressed before the client reaches the terminal.

After each completed booking, we send a short feedback request to the client. Responses are reviewed monthly and used to refine our handover procedures.

KLIA and KLIA2 handle tens of millions of passengers annually, and a significant portion of arriving travellers require ground transport on arrival. Unlike a general vehicle rental operation, Tarvix is structured specifically around the airport context. Every element of our process — the pickup flow, the documentation sequence, the host assignment at the premium tier — was designed with the post-arrival environment in mind. We consider the physical layout of the terminals, the time pressures that travellers face after clearing customs, and the cognitive load of navigating an unfamiliar environment.

Selangor is a major business and tourism destination, and Shah Alam serves as our operational base given its proximity to both the highway network and the airport corridor. Our clients include business travellers connecting into the Klang Valley, corporate groups requiring multiple vehicles, and individual travellers who prefer a calm and orderly approach to the first stage of their visit.
